Rick joined Suncorp Valuations in 2009, he has many years of valuation experience, including valuations of retail shopping centers, high rise office buildings, hospitals and healthcare, consumer goods manufacturing, food processing, foundries, steel mills, pulp and paper mills, chemical, bio-fuel, ethanol, mining, natural gas processing and race tracks and amusement parks. He works with the Business Development group to market the firm’s services.
Rick has been involved in valuation of some of the largest shopping malls in the world and the Panama Canal.
Rick has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. He is recognized as an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in Machinery and Technical Specialties with the American Society of Appraisers. He is also a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser.

Vic joined Suncorp Valuations in 2003 after attaining experience in sales, marketing and project management. He works with the Business Development group to market the firm’s services.
Vic has experience in the valuation of various industry sectors for insurance placement, financial reporting and property records. He has project managed several portfolio engagements with properties across North America and Europe.
Vic has an Honors Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management, his Canadian Risk Management designation and completed several Chartered Insurance Professional Courses.

Shamair joined Suncorp Valuations in 2023 with the responsibility of developing and growing risk management services for offering to our clients. Shamair has over 18 years of leadership experience, in addition to her numerous years of experience within the risk management and insurance industries.
Shamair and her team have extensive experience in developing customer specific loss control/risk management services for all types of industries and occupancies throughout Canada.
Shamair has a Canadian Risk Management (CRM) designation through the Global Risk Management Institute Inc.; is a Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker (CAIB) through the Insurance Broker Association of Alberta; and a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) through the Insurance Institute of Canada.

Thomas joined Suncorp Valuations in 2011, with past experience in foreign trade.
As a member of the public sector team, Thomas primarily appraises educational and municipal properties and equipment. He also has substantial appraisal experience in the private sector arena, appraising hotel and condominium properties.
Thomas holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree with distinction, from the University of Saskatchewan. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA), Machinery & Technical Specialties by the American Society of Appraisers. In 2021, he was also granted his designation in Appraisal Review and Management (ARM).
Thomas is currently based out of Edmonton, enabling him to better serve our client base in Alberta and British Columbia.
